I. Prof. Cai Wen, Wang Runze and Zhong Xin participated in the Third Symposium on "Spreading China to the World" in Bologna, Italy.

II. Prof. Cai Wen and Prof. Wang Runze participated in SUNY's "Spreading China to the World: Academic Exchange of World War II Anti-Fascist War Correspondent Fang Dazeng" in the United States.

III. Professor Zhao Yonghua's monograph "History of Russian-language journalistic activity in China (1898-1956)" in Russian was released at Moscow University.

IV. Major base project of Prof. Chen Lidan, Director of the Center's Institute of Journalism and Communication: The second part of the research results of the study on the history of journalism and communication in the five European countries, "The History of Journalism and Communication in Germany" and the third part, "The History of Journalism and Communication in France", were published by People's Daily Press in April and June 2017.
