Ten New Topics of China's Journalism and Communication Studies In 2015

Abstract:

This paper summarizes ten new topics in the field of journalism and communication in China in 2015. This year, the re-understanding of the power of Internet reconstruction is the focused topic of journalism and communication, and other topics are also related to it, which include mobile Internet users’ characteristics, platform media, big data news, etc. In addition, there have been more discussions on such topics as questioning "publicity" of news, risk communication, science news, research on “the weak”, telling Chinese stories, and profession community of journalism.
