Publication of the new book "The Theory of Journalistic Regularity" by Professor Yang Baojun, researcher of the Research Center for Journali
Author: Time:2020-04-12Recently, Yang Baojun's academic book "The Theory of Journalistic Regularity" was published, the book is the tenth theoryofthe"Ten Theories of Journalism", its publication marked the final completion of his 20-year "Ten Theories of Journalism" creation.
On the basis of the relatively scattered research results, the Theory of Journalistic Regularity has made a comprehensive exploration of the nature and characteristics of the laws ofnews, the formation of the laws ofnews, the systematic composition of the laws ofnews, the evolution of the elements of the journalistic system, the core laws of journalistic activities, the macro laws of journalistic activities, the special laws of the "party media", the practical embodiment of the laws of the press and the mechanism of the role of the laws of news, and constructed a basic conceptual system and theoretical framework for the study of the laws of the news, providing an important reference for further exploration of the laws of the news.
The purpose of this monograph is to make a relatively in-depth and systematic new studies of the laws of news, based on the existing relevant research results, with the history of human journalism as the basic reference, and in the light of the latest changes and developments in human journalism practice, especially the actual situation of journalism in China, to make new observations, reflections, analyses and interpretations, and to make some possible new generalizations and summaries, in an effort to construct a research framework with certain inspirational or reference value for subsequent research, and to deepen or enhance the level of research on the laws of news.
From 1999 to 2019, Prof. Yang has authored ten monographs, including: Facts of Journalism (2001), Valuesof Journalism(2003), Realismof Journalism(2006),Activities of Journalism (2006),Spiritof Journalism (2007), Ontologyof Journalism(2008),Ethicsof Journalism(2010), Ideas of Journalism(2014), Subjectivityof Journalism(2016),TheTheory of Journalistic Regularity(2019). Each monograph is structured around a basic field of journalism, which is analysed in depth and explained in the context of actual journalistic activities, and a system of systematic research on this field is constructed.
