Kuaishou Session | The second lecture of "Online Seminar on Employment and Career Development in News Communication Industry" was held.

Jointly launched by the School of Journalism and Communication and the School of Liberal Arts of Renmin University of China, the "Online Seminar on Employment and Career Development in Journalism and Communication" The Second Lecture "Quick Hand Special Session" was held on the afternoon of May 31, Yu Jingzhong, Vice President of Kuaishou Technology, and Fu Dandan, Campus Relations Team of Kuaishou HR, those two guests shared how short video/live broadcast changed the industry pattern, the attributes of fast-handed products and operating strategies, new trends in media integration, and the fast-handed talent training system, and answered questions from classmates. The lecture was co-chaired by Zhou Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Journalism and Communication, Renmin University of China, and Yan Mei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Liberal Arts. A total of more than 100 people including teachers and students from the two colleges attended the lecture.
Yu Jingzhong, Vice President of Kuaishou Technology, introduced the overall situation of Kuaishou and the development of new media. He pointed out that short video and live broadcast have enriched the media business model, "media attribute + community attribute" has brought about the diversification of commercial value and promoted the change of the overall industry structure, and the integration space of short video/live broadcast and media industry is huge There are more possibilities for development in the future. Subsequently, he introduced the status and characteristics of Kuaishou from three aspects: product attributes, account logic, and operation strategies. Finally, Yu Jingzhong analyzed the six major trends of media convergence. He emphasized that the core competitiveness of media is the ability to integrate original content with channel characteristics, and MCNization has become a new form of media/industry integration. These detailed and vivid explanations help students have a clearer understanding of the current pattern and development of the new media field.
Fu Dandan, the head of the campus relations group of the Kuaishou HR team, shared his views on Kuaishou's talents with his classmates. Focusing on the two types of talents needed by Kuaishou and the kind of talents Kuaishou builds, it introduced the current talent training system of Kuaishou and the recruitment situation in colleges and universities, and made specific suggestions for the students' follow-up internships. She hopes to continue to absorb the fresh blood of creativity and talents, and help the fast hand become a large-scale contemporary digital museum. At the same time, she also mentioned that Kuaishou encourage employees to share and continue to learn, and provides regular training courses for employees to promote growth and absorb more multi-talented people.
During the question-and-answer session, the students discussed with the two guests what they were interested in, and had a detailed and in-depth exchange on the recruitment situation of the school, the production of international content, and the preparation for employment for non-graduate grades, the two guests patiently answered the students'various puzzles and questions. In response to the discussion about the cultivation of "compound talents, " Secretary Zhou Yong and secretary Yan Mei said that our university has taken many measures to this end, and there are also relevant initiatives within the journalism and literature schools, such as the establishment of joint courses, i hope the students can seize the opportunity to improve themselves.
At the end of the lecture, Secretary Yan Mei and Secretary Zhou Yong expressed their gratitude to the two guests and encouraged the students to seize the learning opportunities in school or internship, accumulate experience, and build up adequate knowledge and skills, to blend in with the world in a fast-moving way.
