An agreement signed with Oxfam
作者: 时间:2012-04-01Institute of journalistic ethics and regulations), a unit of Research Center of Journalism and Social Development (RUC) signed a research project cooperation agreement with Oxfam, Hong Kong a few days ago, according to which Oxfam will fund the Institute t to conduct research on corporate social responsibility from the perspective of media communication and social development’)
As a horizontal research project of RUC, the research project will study the corporate social responsibility from the perspective of communication, explore the professional ethics of media and corporations during the communication of corporate social responsibility, thus to promote China's media to regulate their own behavior, especially to realize the disclosure and transparency of the corporate social responsibility, better safeguarding the public interest. The project will also carry out seminars for corporate social responsibility, oriented to government departments, academia, as well as national news reporters. At the same time, a research report titled ‘the communication of corporate social responsibility’ will be complied and published, in which the connotation, the disclosure, the communication effects and the practical communication of corporate social responsibility will be focused on and discussed by the method of linking theory with practice.
The project is hosted by Professor Zheng Baowei, director of Research Center of Journalism and Social Development (RUC), Professor Chen Xun, director of Institute of journalistic ethics and regulations), as well as Dr. Zheng Wenxiang.
