Professor Zheng Baowei, the director of the center, was invited to attend the seminar for the activity of ‘carry forward the spirit of ‘Go&Change’  deepen the activity of ‘Go&Change’ on April 11 and 12 carried out by the leading group of the national journalistic front who were in charge of ‘Three Politics Education’.

In the plenary meeting on the morning of 11, the superintendents of Propaganda Department in the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, Hebei and Fujian Provincial Party Committees, as well as persons in charge of People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, Liberation Daily and Liaoning Daily respectively introduced their own methods and experience of conducting the ‘Go&Change’ activity(Go to Grass-roots and Change the Style of Working and Writing) .

Liu Yunshan, a member of the Communist Party's Politburo, a secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, as well as the minister of Central Propaganda Department attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

He urged that the Journalistic front should summarize the successful experience of ‘Go&Change’ activity, promote the normalization of the activity, guide the majority of journalists to consciously stick to ‘go and change’ with sense of urgency, responsibility and mission, thus to welcome the success of the Party's 18^thNational Congress with excellent performance.

Luo Shugang, Deputy Minister of the Central Propaganda Department and the leader of Three Politics Education, hosted the plenary meeting on the morning of 11. Present at the meeting were members of the ideological work leading group from the Central Propaganda Department, members of the leading group of ‘Three Politics Education activity’, the principal persons in charge of the Central News Unit, the propaganda departments and news units from provincial party committees, regional committees, district committees, as well as municipal committees. In addition, journalistic experts and scholars from colleges and universities also participated in the meeting.

During the plenary meeting on the morning of 12, each group reported on the discussion made on the afternoon before, and then a concluding speech was made by Cai Mingzhao, vice minister of the Central Propaganda Department. He urged that journalistic front should deepen the activity of ‘Go&Change’ in the spirit of the speech made by Liu Yunshan and publicize the theme well, thus to build favorable public opinion environment for the Party's 18^th National Congress. Representatives from Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Communication University of China, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Jinan University and other colleges and universities were invited to participate in the seminar.
