Professor Zheng Baowei lectured at the Elite Workshop of The Journalism Award of China
作者: 时间:2012-06-02On May 25th, as a judge for the China News Award, Professor Zheng Baowei, director of RUC Journalism and Social Development Research Center, as invited by the Chinese Journalist Association, lectured at the Elite Workshop of the China News Award. This workshop was hosted by Henan Daily Cooperation, and over 400 administrative members and outstanding editors and reporters attended this workshop.
Other lecturers in this workshop include Mr. Zhai Huisheng, CPC party secretary and standing vice president ofChinese Journalist Association and Deputy director of the judge committee of China News Award; Mr. Gu Yonghua, Secretariat Secretary of Chinese Journalist Association; Mr. Zhang Shouying, Director of Journalism Research Center of People's Daily, and other judges and award recipients of China News Award. The lectures were presided by Mr. Zhao Tiejun, chief editor of Henan Daily Cooperation.
The title of Professor Zheng Baowei's lecture was 《Several Hot Theory and Practice Topics of Current Journalist Practice》, and the content covered the theoretical value and practice significance of the Zou-Zhuan-Gai movement, the innovation of way of thinking and method in model erection and promotion; the fostering of information dissemination abilities of news media; the elevation of the guidance power of news media, etc.
During his stay in Zhengzhou, Professor Zheng also received interview by journalists from Henan Daily, and provided his viewpoints concerning the economic, social and cultural development of Henan Province, and in particular how to view the role of news media in the construction of Henan Middle-China Economic Zone. Professor Zheng expressed his hope that media in Henan can further reinforce their information dissemination ability, expand their cultural influence, elevate its public guidance, and enhance public trust, so as to make even more contribution to the successful development of Henan Province in all perspectives.
